Phrase 1: “man with one foot out the door”

“man with one foot out the door”は、直訳すると「片足がドアの外にある男」ですが、ここでは「じっとしていられない男」「すぐにいなくなるような男」という意味で用いられています。
Phrase 2: “Scout’s honor.”

ボーイスカウトでは、「名誉にかけて、神と祖国のために全力を尽くして義務を果たします」という誓いをする風習があるそうで、そこから来ています。
